I uploaded my Laravel project files, but I'm just getting a generic 500 server error page. I've checked my .env file. What are the common causes for this on a LiteSpeed server?

Hi Vikas, a 500 error in Laravel usually points to a few common issues: 1) Incorrect file permissions. Your `storage` and `bootstrap/cache` directories should be writable by the server. Try setting them to 775. 2) Your `.htaccess` file might be missing or incorrect for a shared hosting environment. 3) PHP version mismatch. Ensure the PHP version selected in SoftPanel Pro matches your Laravel project's requirements. If these don't work, enabling debug mode in your `.env` file (`APP_DEBUG=true`) temporarily will give you a more detailed error message.
