How can I enable remote access to my database?

I need to connect to my MariaDB database from my local computer using a tool like HeidiSQL. By default, the connection is refused. How can I whitelist my IP address?

Hi Deepak, you can manage remote MySQL access in SoftPanel Pro. Look for an option called "Remote MySQL" in the "Databases" section. From there, you can add your home or office IP address to the access list, which will open the firewall port for your IP to connect to the database server.
