How do I update an application installed via the installer?

I installed my website using the one-click installer. Does it also handle updates, or do I need to do that manually from the application's dashboard?

Hi Anita, the installer can notify you of updates, but for security and control, the update process itself is typically handled within the application's own dashboard (e.g., the WordPress Updates page). This ensures you can run backups before updating.
